PRODUCTION AREA

Valpolicella Classica. Soil rich of mainly limestone over glacial drift, with lots of rocks. Veronese-type pergola with, on average, 40-45 year-old vines.

TASTING NOTES

Campo del Titari displays a deep, rich, opaque ruby color. Its intense and charming bouquet reveal notes of cherries, raspberries and redcurrants, mingling with faint hints of vanilla. On the palate, it unleashes a powerful and robust structure, accompanied, though, by elegant acidity. Its finish is very long and echoes the sensations one perceived on the nose.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

An excellent meditation wine for enjoying on its own or as an ideal accompaniment for grilled or stewed red meats, steak with green peppercorns, game or mature cheeses. Serve at 18°C (64°F), opening the bottle two hours beforehand.

WINE PROFILE

A timeless complexity. Campo del Tìtari is an Amarone with a strong and sentimental value, a perfect, multidimensional meditation wine. A unique sensory journey through spices and jams: raisins, roasted coffee, cocoa powder, hazelnuts, licorice, tobacco. The well-knit woody notes are combined with complex scents of blackberries, figs, cumin and incense. The spicy notes of ginger and vanilla will complete the journey on the finish. Majestic and exuberant, this superb Amarone Riserva has been inspired by the family historical stallion, a combination of grace and power. It is produced only in limited quantities, in special vintages and in numbered bottles.
